Outdoor Oasis: Concrete Patio Transformation

The project involved addressing a deteriorated, cracked concrete patio, uneven stairs, and an inadequate paver walkway. Additionally, the client was struggling with multiple water-related problems on their property.

Wall Upgrade

Retaining Walls

This home had a dilapidated and completely dysfunctional retaining wall. We came in, demoed and removed all of the old, existing and crumbling wall area. Next, we shored up and leveled the area and built a brand new, functional and more aesthetically pleasing wall to complement the exterior side area of the property.

Backyard Drainage Solution

Water Features

This particular project was a multi-step solution. The problem was that the pool deck did not drain properly so we cut out the dysfunctional concrete and installed a bigger drain and corrected the improper slope. We then graded the yard, removing 40 yards of dirt to create a dry creek bed and drainage swale to help with water flow and water build up. We installed the dry creek bed using 14 tons of rock and also created stone steps for better entry into the backyard area. We finished off the space and project by replanting plants throughout.

Back Porch Overhang

Landscape & Design

This project was a comprehensive overhaul of the entire backyard landscape, functionality and flow for this home’s entertaining space. After tearing out all ties, walls, patio, several overgrown trees and bushes, dilapidated fencing, lighting and debris we began constructing their brand new space! Additionally brand new retaining walls were constructed, including new landscaping throughout. We installed new lighting and a paver patio entertaining space. The new outdoor kitchen not only includes a grilling area, but also a pizza oven and a sound system throughout. This space is a great example of incorporating purposeful zones for entertainment and specific functions, while still allowing it all to flow in a cohesive manner.

Bed Clean-Up

This project involves a bed cleanup to improve and update the landscape. We removed the existing mulch and installed new weed fabric and rock top-dress. Then, edged the bed with natural stone edgers.
